March 14 – Two Heads Open

The Two Heads Open is the state championships for disc golf in Tasmania. This annual tournament brings out the best of the local disc golfers and attracts a contingent of interstate and international players.

Competitor information:
This is a two-day tournament played over three rounds of 18 holes, plus finals (9 holes). The format is singles stroke-play and competitors play in divisions suited to their playing experience and ability.

Tournament Classification:
Australian Disc Golf : A-Tier
Professional Disc Golf Association: C-Tier

Tournament entry fees:
Open Division players: $100
Amateur divisions: $80
Junior divisions: $40
Saturday only, all divisions: $40
Lunch on both days is included.

Players are required to register for the tournament in advance.

January 26 – Beetle Hill Open

The Beetle Hill Open Disc Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday 26 January 2020 at Poimena Reserve Disc Golf Course.

Tournament Overview:
This is a one day disc golf event. Over the day there will be two rounds of 18 holes played (36 holes in total). Hobart Disc Golf members are running the event and will be more than happy to help any newcomers by providing them with golf discs and instruction.

Competition Format:
The format is singles stroke-play and competitors play in divisions suited to their playing experience and ability.

Spectators:
Spectators are welcome at any time and it’s free entry onto the course.

Lunch:
Competitors will be provided a light lunch. BBQ and drinks will be available for purchase with all proceeds going to the Hobart Disc Golf Club. Vegetarian/vegan options will be available.

Prizes: Each division winner receives a trophy. Prizes for place getters and CTB competition.

Competitors:
Players must register in advance through the ADG website. Your registration is only confirmed once payment is made by bank transfer to Hobart Disc Golf. This is necessary as it helps the Club organise logistics for the event and makes sure all participants are looked after. Registration is a simple online form.
